Meet Abby, the energetic 10 month old American Bulldog. My husband always wanted an American Bulldog, a breed which he thought was more or less a couch potato. Little did we know, she recently thought the couch WAS a potato and did the following damage to our new leather sofa. Our walks are a constant struggle with her need to take US for a walk. She is a very affectionate dog, she loves to jump up IN your face and kiss you… but - because of her strength, when she jumps to kiss you, she could knock you over if unprepared. She is fine with strangers in the yard and loves people and other dogs, but if a bird happens to be on our lawn, she will try to break through the window to scare it away. We recently installed the electric dog fence to try to limit the car chasing and running away – but nothing will keep this dog from getting what she wants. Please help us have the dog we’ve always dreamed of.
