Duke

Duke Fortune is a three year old boxer and he is Canada’s naughtiest dog.
Duke is a gentle soul, who loves everyone; he would not hurt a fly. Even when you try to discipline him, he wags his tail. Duke suffers from separation anxiety; therefore he has to be crated when we are not home. Otherwise he will pee and poop all over the house and will be very destructive. One day he ate all the remote controls.
At our house, we have to make sure that both doors to go outside are closed. If only the screen door is open, Duke will open it by jumping up and hitting the door handle. Once he opens the door he bolts. Everyone one in the neighbourhood knows Duke. The game of chasing him can last a very long time.
Taking Duke for a walk can be a challenge. If he sees another animal, dog or cat, it takes two of us to drag him away.
We have all learned that you cannot never leave food on the counter because Duke will take it and eat it. He loves bananas, we cannot leave them out in the open or they will vanish.
Even though Duke has many bones to chew on, he will sneak in is skin brother’s room and steal toys that he can eat.
As you can see, Duke is a lovely boy but he is definitely Canada’s naughtiest dog.
