Howie The Terror Terrier

Our little dog Howie is so cute he's hard to resist..Especially when he stops dead in his tracks while walking down Robson street, and I have to carry him on my shoulder , like a cat would sit..Oh he enjoys the world around him while being carried..there is no doubt about that..He also enjoys His Couch, His Bedroom, His Anything his little heart desires..
My hubby hasn't been able to hug me without getting his pant legs jumped on, snapped at, acratched at..etc..yes, and even the odd little nip..He is a wholly terror, we are at our wits end..he's a very skittish little guy, when he's on my knee if i move my hand too quickly |I get a snarl and maybe even bite..and then he jumps down and runs and hides..So he knows he is doing something wrong..it's almost sad..it's as tho he has been possesed at times...We love him dearly but he seems to be getting worse, I have read about an unusual trait in some dogs called Rage Syndrome...I think he has it..Other than putting him on Prozac, and we don't want him to be doped up..we are at a loss..Any help would be more than greatly appreciated...
